"Australia presents more exacting challenges than anywhere else at present. Given the divisions caused by the WICB-WIPA row and the negligible preparation (accentuated by a solitary warm-up match in Australia before the first Test), the West Indies face a virtual mission impossible, whoever is chosen."
I agree with everything Cozier says in the article down to the team selection.

so he saying the same things as lara.....
it wud be more produtive if the time was spent working through all the negatives to see how we can pull off a win!
we doh need analysis that concludes how stong and daunting the playing the Oz is, and dat we cyar win.
I know all dat arready...and if the people doh know it directly deh at least cyan sense it.
wat we need from all these factin know-it-alls, these fellas seasoned in cricket all deh lives... is how we can best apperoach the sitaution to come out with the best possible result....
if dat is not de focus of Lara and Cozier and others like them fact dem all.
I will nt read another doom and gloom approach. fuck Andrew Mason and his tears! dats not the kind of wartuh dat make food and flower grow!
dat is in fact

lissen! Mason and Ccrzier and dat ilk...all ah dem is westindian elite and middle class....
all these years deh sit and watch the wicb direction and the disaster that loomed. all ah we saw it, knew it wud come to this if no positive change....
the message boards and dem are filled with arhieves of all the posters saw over the years...and dat is wat deh saw...destruction of westindies cricket in no positive change of direction.
we are here now and after years of support of the wicb wat Crazier and Mason go now come to shed tears to do wat..'mek we see how much deh care'
deh are top-notch pople, qualified and full of experience. deh knew as much as we the danger we faced. but as elites deh supported the status quo. and if push come to shove now deh will still support the atstus quo no matter how many tears...which are nutten but tears of the crocodile...dat mason have stored up.
let mason go piss dem tears on his garden as weed-killer. thats really the best aplication fuh dem

look here! WE MUST GET AN EFFECTIVE WIKET-TAKING FAST BOWLER...JUST ONE!
SUCH A BOWLER WUD TURN EDWARDS AND TAYLOR INTO WORLD BEATERS!
edwards and taylor are not bowlers like Croft and Holding, Eoberts and the like, the spearheads, the effective killer types. but deh wud complement excellently one of those.
DAT IS WHY WE MUST...ABSOLUTELY MUST.... TRAVEL WITH RAMPAUL, TONGUE AND ROACH.
WE MUST EXHAUST EVERY POSSIBILITY TO FIND THAT CLASS BOWLER TO COMPLETE THE ATTACK.
Tthere is no spin around dat threatens to be Ram, Val of Gibbs. but Roach, rampaul and Tongue threatens to be great fast bowlers. all must be selected to see what pans out!

I see Cozy the pozy pick Miller instead of Benn, seemingly rates Benn third after Mohammed.
he got that right at least!

I doh know about Dowlin doh! it seems to me that Morton and Narsing ahead of him.
but I will yield the benefit of doubt in this case, as Cozier knows the players better than I do
( yu let man take off he keeping pads and come and bowl dong your rass! wat kinda class batsman is dat!)

Gayle, Barath, Sarwan, Shiv, Sknash....
we need 2 more batsmen...contenders....Simmons, Narsingh, Lil Bravo, Morton, Dowlin.
I believe the most fitted for the task at hand is Morton. and as the future potential ought to be addresed lil Bravo
so dats my firs' 7
Ramdin keeps and remains vcapp I suspect!
di'ze 8!
Miller is the spin...9
Brazo is allrounder....10
Edwrads, Taylor, Tonge, Rampaul, the pace...15!
and if gayle is capp as indicated I want the best possible, most intelligent dn knowledgeable in cricket manager w cyan muster.
this manajah must have real powah in the mix and know how to use it judiciously ..to produce the most positive results to this tour we cyan muster.
I see this tour here as an great opportuity to start a new positive trend..aftah the strike and all dat.
it is the perfect time to change captains and start this new trend. Gayle is incompetent and incapable of even understanding what I mean here.
so if the captain is out of the loop then all must be invested in the manajah.
Lloyd is the first name that comes to mind although by now I am a little leery of Lloyd. yet when it comes to on-the-field activities and managing a team, getting the best out of the players etc., Lloyd may still be unparalled.
of the legends I cannot think of anyone else, with the skill-set that fits current needs
surprisingly David Willimas the coach has turned out to be a far more complte individual than cold ever have imagined. as coach he fills a mighty hole in westindies make-up and would be a great help to the type of manager I have in mind.
Augustine Logie comes to mind, another Trinidadian and westrindies who has proven to be of quality make-up as an elder.
Courtney Walsh also comes to mind but there semes to be a quarter of sterness that may be missing as far as he is concerned. as a westindian and a gentleman however is he has earned great respect.
Roger Harper was also indicated significant capacity as an administrator,..for growth fo all roudn growth as intellect as well
I would be happy if any of these are brought in as manajah.
but whoever is given the job must be given all the necessary powers of that function, to make of it the best possible in the situation

I should also be looking in the direction of Alvin kalliecharan as possible manager. also Dudnath Ramkissoon, Rabin Seeram and possibly deryck Murray.
I would not at all be unhappy if Ramkissoon was asked to manage the team!
I know Ramkisson from since he was a kid in titty, who grew to be captain of the westindies youth team and the son everybody wished they had.
Ramkisson was like dat. and 10 years later it Logie!
I understand Ramkisson has been of great service to Trinidad cricket and I am extraordinarily happy he turned out very well indeed
